Duration: 9 a.m. to noon
Directions: From I-95 exit at 10th Ave. N. – head east to Federal Highway (U.S. Highway 1) – turn right and head south to Lake Ave – turn left and head east – Bryant Park is on the right (S. Golfview Rd) just before the bridge – meet at the Bryant Park boat ramp.
Additional Information: Volunteers will be transported by boat to the mangrove planters along the Lake Worth Beach Golf Club. Volunteers should be prepared for wet and muddy working conditions. Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes – no sandals or flip flops allowed. Restroom facilities are available at Bryant Park. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments. Event participation is limited to the first 15 volunteers who register.
Registration: The volunteer projects are designed for volunteers ages 16 and older. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
